Horse Training

Rebecca has over 15 years of horse training experience, and for many of those years she has been researching truly Classical methods of training all types of horses. The lessons of La Gueriniere, Wynmalen, Baucher and Philippe Karl have been her inspiration. Although she specialises in Baroque breeds such as Andalusians, Lusitanos and Friesians, Rebecca finds that a large majority of her clients are actually warmblood breeds such as Holsteins, Hannovarians and Oldenburgs. Rebecca has also had fantastic results with re training ex race horses (which turn out to be SUPER in most cases).

All horse training is mobile – your horse will learn much better when he is in his own environment. Horse training is priced at $30 per session, with session length varying entirely on the needs of the horse. Most young horses benefit from little and often, so many of Rebecca’s Clients will book her for two hours, comprising of two 30 minute sessions for the horse, plus theory for the owner whilst the horse rests his brain and body.

Training will commence with an initial consultation – this will shed light on the areas your horse needs help with, and will allow Rebecca to formulate an accurate training plan for you to follow.

Rebecca travels throughout the Perth metro area north to Mariginiup and south to Serpentine. Clients outside this area are more than welcome to enquire about training and lessons, however, it may be best to get a couple of friends together to have lessons or training on the same day to cover traveling costs.
